So I'm still on vacation (almost one week in, now. One to go!) but I did stop by long enough to get the polls up for the character and member spotlights of August. The names submitted in the earlier nomnomnomination thread are the choices~ sound gooood? Noodle on over to the Memo Box (a sub-board of the Water Cooler) to place your vote.

The August newsletters will be out when I get home to work on it.

All of our current members received this morning the first monthly VG newsletter in their message inbox. Exciting, exciting! You all can add stories, announcements and advertisements to the next issue, too. Just PM me! In the newsletter are some important links, including the nomination thread for august spotlights and this month's poll.

To anyone who joins/joined after the mass pm was sent, the newsletter can also be viewed in the new sub-board of the Water Cooler.

I updated a few more little things on the site this morning, including a sub-board for away messages and moving all of the 'gone' threads there from the Water Cooler. There were some formatting and grammar issues in our info threads which have also been dealt with. If you catch any errors anywhere on the site, let me know please so I can fix them?

First of all, welcome to our leagues of new members. <3 Mwah, mwah. With you lot I am very happy and oh-so-glad to have you.

Just a reminder to our older members and everyone to stay active and post if you are going to be gone. I would love it if everyone would tell their friends about VG, too. The more the merrier!
Not many real updates right now; everything seems to be running pretty smoothly. I'm working on getting myself more involved IC, so let me know if you want a thread, mmk?

Alright. We're active-ish and certainly well on our way. GOOD. KEEP IT UP, you're all doing wonderfully. I would like to ask that people (either as individuals or representatives of a gang) start claiming territories. Remember that any character can claim a territory in any place that they have roleplayed. If you have made two in characters posts in a territory, it is yours to claim.
Also remember, however, that every character can only hold one territory that they have claimed. (they can challenge for more.)

It's been over two weeks now since opening and we're doing splendidly. I'd like to remind everyone to stay as active as they can, and recruit members where ever possible! We all want to see this place grow up big and strong, don't we?

Venom's Gate 2 is officially OPEN and ready for business! Still have a few things to finish and tweak as time goes on, but we're to the point where we can throw the gates open. Everybody start advertising immediately and get those character profiles up; time to make all our hard work pay off.

I have just been too excited for this, how about you guys?
